What is liability insurance?
Liability insurance covers the state required basic minimum coverage on your auto. Liability affords coverage to the vehicle that you may damage in an at-fault accident. It does not afford coverage for damage to your auto.
Is there a "grace period" on my insurance policy?
When purchasing a month to month insurance policy you do not have a "grace period" or any covered period after the expiration date. You are only afforded coverage for the days you have paid for in full.
Can I put insurance on a vehicle I'm borrowing?
By state law auto insurance must be held by the titled owner of the vehicle. If the titled owner is not named insured on the policy, then they must be a listed or covered driver.
What is a limited policy?
A limited policy only affords coverage to named insured and listed drivers. It does not provide coverage to any other driver of the vehicle.
